HSPnet Team Seeking Bilingual Members

HSPnet is currently used in six Canadian provinces that share costs through the National HSPnet Alliance, established by the BC Academic Health Council in 2004.  The Alliance continues to grow with the introduction of up to seven regions of Quebec during 2010.

HSPnet is supported in Canada through a contracted team of consultants and service providers, led by Roberts Hendrickson Consulting Inc. and accountable through the National HSPnet Director to the BC Academic Health Council and the National Alliance Steering Committee.  HSPnet expansion to Quebec means introducing bilingual resources for user Training and Support (Help Desk).

We’re looking for people with a unique combination of skills and personal characteristics that include:

  • fluency in oral/written French and English and excellent communication skills
  • an ability to work independently as part of a geographically dispersed team that is committed to 100% satisfaction
  • suitable conditions for working from home, on either a part-time or full-time basis
  • ability to work as a self-employed individual within annual contract renewals
  • strong computer skills and experience with databases, including a working knowledge of HSPnet
  • We are looking for individuals from within the academic health industry who are already experienced with practice education and “the business” of student placements in healthcare.
If someone you know would be interested in this opportunity, please encourage them to contact susanne@sphendrickson.com for more information.
