Preceptor Management & Recognition
Sustaining and developing the supervisor/preceptor resource is a critical success factor to building practice education capacity and improving quality. HSPnet provides receiving sites with a comprehensive staff database to manage preceptor information, to track activities, and to recognize contributions of those who supervise students.
The HSPnet Staff database provides:
· a detailed staff profile
· instant tracking of preceptor assignment and overlapping assignments
· functions to assign multiple part-time preceptors and to manage their schedules and allocation of preceptor hours
In addition, the HSPnet Correspondence module enables creation of templates for assignment confirmation and preceptor recognition/thanks
